She had a 5-year-old daughter with him and everything was fine until the 31-year-old took a paternity test. His behaviour towards his wife and daughter changed after testing negative.

Upon receiving the test results, the woman was as shocked as her husband, as she had never cheated on him. She didn’t understand why the results indicated that the girl was not hers.

“There is no other potential father for our daughter. We were already married and actively trying to have a child. I have never deceived him, I never will.” The woman said her Reddit post, while clarifying that she had only slept with two men before dating her husband.

Her husband became distant after seeing the results. He started spending more time at work and didn’t talk to her as much as he used to. He also told her that he took the test because he had doubts, knowing that his daughter had brown eyes while those of the couple were blue.

The man wanted his wife to leave the house, but he quickly calmed down and agreed to talk. After some discussion, the couple decided to do some tests to clear up any confusion. Little did they know that this would lead them to another shocking truth.

After some discussion, the wife convinced her husband to do some tests to prove his innocence. At this point, the man said he would not kick her out, but would lose his temper if the results proved she had cheated on him.

Among the planned tests, the woman, her husband and daughter performed a paternity blood test, which allowed them to discover a new reality: The results proved that they (the man as well as his wife) were not the biological parents of their daughter.

“I don’t know how it happened, but a policeman came to our house and took our statements, and we continued the hospital where I gave birth,”  the woman revealed, adding that the truth about their daughter had turned their lives upside down

The woman felt terrified thinking of her biological daughter. She worried about where she would be, and what scared her the most was the idea of what would happen once she found her daughter.

As a protective mother, the woman didn’t want her 5-year-old daughter to know she wasn’t their child, as it would have ruined her childhood. In addition, the girl might tell her friends at school, and everyone would gossip about her. The woman said, “I don’t know what I did to deserve this.”

A few weeks later, the woman wrote another post on Reddit to let people know about the situation. Before sharing this update, she said her story got a lot of attention after many YouTubers shared it.

“We have found our biological daughter. She was placed with a foster family,” she revealed in her post. She said a family took their daughter to the hospital, but authorities took her away after learning she was not their biological daughter.

Since then, the girl has been placed with a foster family. The woman said she felt very bad for the family, but was happy that her daughter was safe. The couple immediately filed for adoption and sued the hospital for their negligence. The woman revealed that she received approximately $2 million in settlement.
