On social media, the quote appears in the form of a supposed newspaper clipping, accompanied by a photo of Mary Anne Trump and her son. However, there is no evidence that Mary Anne Trump, Donald Trump’s mother, ever made such remarks.

This is false information.
No source or date for this alleged statement appears on the image. We found no trace of this declaration. The website Snopes, which also checked the authenticity of the quote, found no evidence of it in newspaper archives.

Mary Anne Trump died in 2000. As pointed out by American fact-checking websites Factcheck and Politifact, if Donald Trump’s mother had made such statements, they would very likely have resurfaced during the 2016 presidential campaign—which did not happen.
The photo accompanying the questionable quote appears in a 2016 article published by The New Yorker. There is no mention of this alleged statement anywhere in the article.
