We are in the United States, a divorced man complained on Reddit that caring for of his own children on weekends “ruins his free time” and prevents him from dating.

He said:

“My ex-wife and I have been divorced for a year, and we have two children under the age of six. Since I live too far from their school, I have them on weekends, and she takes care of them the rest of the week. I hate this. All my days off are taken up by the presence of my children, when I would like to be able to go out, enjoy life and meet new people. My ex-wife is free every weekend, and not surprisingly, she has a new guy while I’m single.”

He adds

“I haven’t slept with anyone since my ex, and at this rate, I’ll never sleep with anyone again. But I can’t say anything to anyone because I know people will say I’m a bad father. »
