Russia-Ukraine: Three Russian military and reconnaissance aircraft intercepted over the Baltic Sea by Germany and England

According to today’s reports, three Russian planes have gone to check if German and NATO troops are really on alert. German and British troops patrol international airspace over the Baltic Sea north of the Atlantic Ocean.

The Baltic Sea is surrounded by NATO member countries namely Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden on one side and Russia on the other. (See map.)

The Norwegian military said yesterday it had detected Russian planes in the airspace over the Baltic Sea in eastern Finland. According to reports, the three Russian planes, two Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker fighter jets and one Ilyushin Il-20 reconnaissance aircraft, were flying “without transponder signals in international airspace over the Baltic Sea” when they were intercepted.

It’s the second interception in less than a month.

On April 17, the Royal Air Force and the Luftwaffe, which monitor this airspace on behalf of NATO, had already intercepted three Russian military aircraft over the Baltic Sea “near NATO airspace” and “escorted” them out of the area.

In March this year, Russian aircraft intercepted an American Reaper MQ-9 drone in the Black Sea, but denied being behind its destruction. The incident provoked a brief escalation of tensions between Washington and Moscow.

The war between Russia and Ukraine continues, the war makes it of the whole world, even though the leaders of the world have not yet declared World War III, but the whole world has been ordered to take sides in the conflict, between two giant countries that seem to be fighting for the position of the world power – namely Britain and the United States (and its allies including Europe) on the one hand and Russia-China (and their allies including Iran, North Korea and Brazil) on the other, the rest of the countries of the world are only followers of these two blocs.

This position (of the first world power) is, since the Second World War on the side of the United Kingdom and the United States (the Anglo-American world power). Russia and China are trying to get rid of this monopoly power of the world or even to overthrow it.

Three Russian military planes intercepted over the Baltic Sea

Yesterday, Russia deployed a missile at Ukraine’s Kupiasnk cultural center, killing two people and wounding 10. Ukraine said it would react quickly. The war has taken so long, and no one knows when it will end. Time will tell.
