An 85-Year-Old Frenchman Ends Up in Croatia After Following His GPS

Author: HAKIZIMANA Maurice

Leaving Châtillon-sur-Thouet (Deux-Sèvres) to see his doctor in Airvault, only 25 km away, an 85-year-old man mistakenly followed his GPS all the way to Croatia.

Believing he was on the right road, he drove for over 20 hours, covering nearly 2,000 kilometers, before being found safe and sound. His family had raised the alarm when he failed to return home.

This unusual incident is a reminder that technology can’t always replace a good sense of direction.

This world,
