The following is a true story, showing one of the techniques that scammers use to stealthily steal from inexperienced people. It happened in one of the interior regions of Uganda, in Africa 7 years ago.It is worth reading and spreading. It can open your eyes.Enjoy the reading.

A Mzungu man appeared in a market at Bukomansimbi and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for 200,000 shillings each.The villagers seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching them. The man bought many of them at 200,000 shillings and as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort.The muzungu then announced that he would now buy at 300,000 shillings each monkey.This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again and soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms.The offer increased to 400,000 shillings each and the supply of monkeys became so little that it was an effort to even see a monkey, let alone catch it!
The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at 1,000,000 shillings.However,he had to go to Kampala on some business engagement so, his assistant would now buy on his behalf. In the absence of the muzungu, the assistant told the villagers.
“Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the Muzungu has collected. I will sell them to you at 800,000 shillings and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him for 1,000,000 shillings each.”
The villagers lined up with all their savings and bought all the monkeys.Then the Muzungu and his Ugandan assistant vanished and there were monkeys everywhere.
That’s how many of the sports betting,Bitcoin business and pyramid schemes work.
Let’s quit monkeying around and get back to doing proper business and tell your people that almost all business people need profits or at best recover their costs!
