– Baby 1: And you, do you believe in life after childbirth?
– Baby 2: Of course. It’s obvious that there is life after childbirth. We are here to become strong and prepare for what awaits us after [in a new world!]
– Baby 1: Pffff… It’s all insane. There’s nothing after birth! What would a life out of the womb look like?
– Baby 2: Well, there’s a lot of stories about the other side. It is said that there is a lot of light, a lot of joy and emotions, thousands of things to experience… For example, it seems that there [in this new world] we will eat with our mouths.
– Baby 1: But it’s nonsense! We have our umbilical cord and that’s what feeds us. Everyone knows that. You don’t feed by mouth! And, of course, there was never been anyone who was born before us and came back to us from that other life… So, these are all stories of naïve people. Life simply ends when you are born. That’s the way it is, you have to accept it.
Baby 2: Well, let me think differently. Sure, I don’t know exactly what this life after being born is to look like, and I couldn’t prove anything to you. But I like to believe that, in the life to come, we will see our mother and she will take care of us.
– Baby 1: “Mother”? You mean you believe in “Mother”??? Ah! And where is she?
– Baby 2: But she is everywhere, you see! She is everywhere, all around us! We are made by her and it is because of her that we exist and live. Without her, we wouldn’t be here.
– Baby 1: That’s absurd! I’ve never seen any mothers so it’s obvious that she doesn’t exist.
– Baby 2: I don’t agree, that’s your point of view. Because, sometimes when everything is quiet, you can hear when she sings… We can feel her hands caressing our world…I’m sure our real life will begin after we are born… [in a new world, in a new life].
