ARSENAL TERMINATES ITS « VISIT RWANDA» CONTRACT, IT WILL NOT BE RENEWED

The English Premier League club justifies this position in particular by the worrying security situation in the East of the DRC, marked by the presence of the Rwandan army, accused of supporting the M23 rebellion in its offensive against Goma and Bukavu in North and South Kivu.

On the official Arsenal FR account, we read:

“Arsenal is considering not renewing its contract with Visit Rwanda for a third time. We are exploring new, more lucrative and ethical alternatives. As a reminder, Rwanda is actively participating in the massacres of populations in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.”
