15 YEARS AGO TO THE DAY…. Michael Jackson died at his mansion in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, California, following a cardiac arrest. It was June 25, 2009. The announcement of his death will have the effect of a bombshell and will leave the artist’s admirers upset.

On the night of June 24 to 25, 2009, Michael Jackson needed a doctor. The star is preparing one of her most anticipated tours in the world. But the stress is present and the singer can’t sleep. He then asked his personal doctor to come. The next morning, Michael Jackson was found without a pulse in his bed. Despite the intervention of a medical team, it was too late to save him. The “King of Pop” has died. In the media, everyone is talking about it. Special editions are dedicated to Jackson.

In front of the artist’s home, hundreds of people came to be sure that this announcement is true. Too bad for them, it’s not a joke. From that moment on, crowds of admirers gathered on Hollywood Boulevard to pay tribute to him. But only one question keeps coming up: what happened? The autopsy carried out on his body later revealed that the singer had succumbed to too high a dose of propofol, a powerful anesthetic to which Michael Jackson was addicted. But witnesses heard during the trial that opened into his death explained that Michael Jackson had become fragile and psychologically unstable in the run-up to his last tour. He often shivered from the cold and the beating of his heart was perceptible through his emaciated chest, a reporter from The Hollywood Reporter had confided. But for others, it was Dr. Murray (his personal physician) who pushed Jackson to his limits.

Michael Jackson was born in August 1958 in Gary (Indiana, United States). The seventh of a family of 9 children, he sang with his brothers from the age of 6 and began a professional career at the age of 11 with the Jackson Five, a group formed with his older brothers. While remaining a member of the group (until 1984), he began a solo career in 1971. Five of his solo albums released during his lifetime are among the best-selling albums in the world: Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995).

Nicknamed the “King of Pop”, Michael Jackson has broken several records in the recording industry. With more than 350 million records sold worldwide, he ranks among the 3 biggest record sellers of all time, behind the Beatles and Elvis Presley.
